Marco Speroni is an Italian film and television director. He has directed or produced over forty films and television shows, including the award-winning feature film "The Human Cargo" (2014).

Speroni was born in Milan, Italy in 1972. He studied cinema and theater at the University of Parma before attending the National Film School in Rome. During his studies, he was mentored by the renowned Italian director Marco Bellocchio.

After graduating in 1997, Speroni began his career as an assistant director on a number of Italian films. He made his directorial debut in 2002 with the romantic comedy "Between Friends" (2002). The film was a modest box office success and received positive reviews from critics.

Speroni went on to direct a number of other films, including the action-thriller "Deadly Pursuit" (2006), the romantic drama "The Face of Love" (2007) and the historical drama "The Human Cargo" (2014). His most successful film to date is "The Human Cargo," which won several awards, including Best Film at the Rome International Film Festival.
