Marco Eisenbarth is an award-winning German-born director and producer with an impressive body of work spanning feature films, television, commercials, music videos and documentaries. He has won numerous awards for his films, including two German Academy Awards, for Best Documentary and Best Television Movie.

Eisenbarth was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, where he attended the University of Hamburg. After graduating, he began his career as a freelance director and producer, working with local production companies and television stations. He first made a name for himself with his short film, “The Silent Room”, which won him the Grand Prize at the German Short Film Festival.

Throughout his career, Eisenbarth has continued to push the boundaries of storytelling, creating unique and thought-provoking films. He is particularly noted for his use of dreamlike visuals and innovative camera work. His feature films have been acclaimed by critics, with his most recent work, “A Day in the Life of a Stranger”, winning Best Picture at the 2020 Berlin Film Festival.
