Marcelo Filho is a Brazilian film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his feature films and documentaries, and has won numerous awards for his work.

Filho was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1971. He began his career as an assistant director, working on a number of low-budget films.
