Kiowa Winans is an American director, producer, writer, and cinematographer. He is best known for his work on the films The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, What Happens in Vegas, and The Wager.

Kiowa Winans grew up in a small town in California, near Fresno. He attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduated with a degree in film. After graduation, he began his career in the film industry as a camera assistant and then a cinematographer. He worked on several films, including The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, What Happens in Vegas, and The Wager.

In 2013, Kiowa made his directorial debut with the independent feature film, The Wager. The film stars Josh Duhamel, Michael Roark, and Taylor Cole, and tells the story of a small group of friends who make a bet to see who can go the longest without falling in love. The film was well-received and earned Kiowa critical acclaim, as well as awards from film festivals and organizations such as the Independent Spirit Awards and the San Diego Film Festival.

Following The Wager, Kiowa directed a number of short films, including Life of an Actress (2014), The Great Unknown (2015), and The Joke (2016). In 2017, he directed the feature film, I See You, starring Helen Hunt and Jon Tenney. The film tells the story of a small town detective who is investigating a series of strange occurrences.

Kiowa's work has earned him praise for his creative storytelling and visual style. In addition, he has earned awards from film festivals and organizations such as the Independent Spirit Awards and the San Diego Film Festival.
