BIO

Kim Evans is a renowned director, producer, and actor. Born and raised in San Francisco, Kim has made a name for himself in Hollywood for his work on films such as the Academy Award-winning Moonlight, as well as television series like Transparent.

At a young age, Kim was already passionate about film and theater. He attended the San Francisco School of the Arts, where he studied film and acting. After graduating, he went to the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he earned his MFA in directing.

Since then, Kim has directed numerous independent and studio films, including the critically acclaimed documentary The Square, which he won the Grand Jury Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. He has also worked on the hit television series Transparent, for which he won an Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

In addition to his directing work, Kim has acted in a few projects. In 2015, he appeared in the film Love & Mercy, alongside Paul Dano and Elizabeth Banks. He also had a minor role in the 2016 comedy Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
