Kevin Triplett is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and editor from San Francisco, California. He is best known for his work on the films The Bay (2012) and The Bay 2: The Beginning (2014).

Triplett was born in San Francisco in 1980. He attended San Francisco State University, where he studied film and video production, as well as creative writing. After graduating, he pursued his career in the film industry and began working as a director, editor, and screenwriter. He quickly rose to prominence in the Bay Area film scene, directing a number of short films and music videos that garnered attention from major film festivals.

His first feature length film was The Bay, a horror film set in a small town in Northern California. The film was released in 2012 and was a success, winning multiple awards and earning Triplett praise from critics.

Encouraged by the success of The Bay, Triplett went on to write and direct The Bay 2: The Beginning, a sequel to the original film. The sequel was released in 2014 and was equally successful, once again earning Triplett praise from critics.

Since then, Triplett has gone on to work on a variety of projects, including the 2016 horror film The Abandoned, the 2017 thriller The Watcher, and the 2018 horror film The Ritual. He is currently working on his latest project, a horror anthology series entitled Fear the Woods, which is set to be released in 2021.
