Kerry Asmussen is an award-winning television and film director. He has directed a number of critically acclaimed television shows and feature films.

Kerry Asmussen was born in Los Angeles, California in 1967. He attended UCLA film school and graduated with a degree in film and television production. After graduating, he worked as an assistant director in the television industry. During this time, he gained valuable experience on the sets of shows such as “Glee”, “The Office”, and “Modern Family”.

In 2004, Kerry made his directorial debut with the television movie “The Road Home”. The movie was well received and earned him a Directors Guild of America award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television. He continued his success in television with directing credits on “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scrubs”, and “Private Practice”.

In 2009, Kerry made his feature film debut with “The Garden of Eden”. The movie was a critical success and earned him two Independent Spirit Award nominations. He followed this up with the feature film, “The Talk of the Town”, which was also well-received.

Throughout his career, Kerry has been an advocate for diversity in the film and television industry. He has worked with a variety of filmmakers and actors from different backgrounds to bring their stories to life.
