Josh Oreck is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter who specializes in non-fiction films. He has produced and directed films for major networks such as HBO, National Geographic and PBS. His film, “Bag It” won him the 2010 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary.

Oreck graduated from New York University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Television. He then went on to work in post-production for several companies before starting his own production company, Oreck Media. Through this company, he has produced several films, including “The Perfect Bid”, “The Last Blockbuster”, and “Bag It”.

In 2010, Oreck released “Bag It”, a documentary exploring the health and environmental effects of plastic bag consumption.
