BIO

Jonathan Taggart is an award-winning director and producer based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Michigan, Jonathan was raised in a small rural town. He studied at the University of Michigan, where he earned a degree in film production.

Jonathan began his career in production by working on short films and music videos. He quickly gained recognition for his work and went on to produce several features, documentaries, and television shows. His first feature film, “The Road to Nowhere”, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival.

Jonathan's work often focuses on social issues such as poverty, mental illness, and the environment. His documentary “Unbroken”, which follows the journey of a homeless man, was nominated for an Academy Award. He has also received critical acclaim for his feature film “The Outcasts”, which follows the lives of two teenage girls living in poverty.
