BIO

John Edginton is an award-winning director of documentaries, commercials, and corporate films. He is best known for his work in the music industry, having directed documentaries for some of the biggest names in the music business such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, and U2.

John was born in London, England in 1965. He grew up in a working-class family and developed a love for music and film at an early age. He studied film and television at the University of Westminster, graduating in 1987.

After university, John began working as a freelance cameraman and editor. He quickly made a name for himself in the industry and soon landed his first directing job on a documentary about the London punk scene. This film, titled “The London Punk Scene”, earned him critical acclaim and awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

John’s work in the music industry began to take off after he directed a documentary about The Rolling Stones. The documentary, titled “The Rolling Stones: The Biggest Bang”, won numerous awards and was highly praised by critics.
