Jeremy Newberger is an American director, writer, producer, and actor best known for his work on the documentary films Nerdcore Rising, The Yes Men Fix the World, and I Need That Record! He has also had acting roles in the films Big Fan and Love the Coopers.

Newberger was born in 1977 and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 1999 with a degree in English. After college, he moved to New York City and worked as a production assistant for MSNBC and later as a producer for VH1.

In 2005, Newberger co-founded Ironbound Films with his co-directors, Patrick Manwiller and Eric Haven. Ironbound Films has produced several documentaries, including Nerdcore Rising (2008), The Yes Men Fix the World (2009), and I Need That Record! (2010). He also produced the short documentary The Last Campaign, which won a Student Academy Award for best documentary short.

Newberger has also had several acting roles in feature films, including Big Fan (2009) and Love the Coopers (2015). He has also appeared as an extra in several television shows, including Sex and the City and Law & Order.

In addition to his work in film and television, Newberger is also an active philanthropist, working with a variety of charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society. He is also a strong advocate for LGBT rights.

Newberger continues to write, direct, and produce documentaries and feature films. He recently finished work on a documentary about the rise and fall of record stores, which is currently in post-production. Newberger also serves on the board of directors for the Lower East Side Girls Club, a non-profit organization that provides education and support for young women in New York City.

Newberger has received several accolades for his work, including a Student Academy Award, two Emmy nominations, and a Tribeca Film Festival nomination. His work has also been featured on Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and other outlets.
