Jen Randall is an award-winning director and cinematographer based in Bristol, UK. She has won numerous accolades for her work on feature films, documentaries, and music videos.
Randall is a self-taught filmmaker, having grown up with a passion for storytelling. She began experimenting with video as a teenager and eventually decided to pursue a career in film. She initially worked as an editor and assistant director in Bristol, honing her craft and learning the ins and outs of filmmaking.
In 2010, Randall made her directorial debut with the short film ‘Dreams of a Life’, which premiered at the London Film Festival. This project earned her a nomination for Best Short Film at the British Independent Film Awards.
Since then, Randall has gone on to direct a number of projects, including feature films, documentaries, and music videos. These include the critically-acclaimed documentary ‘The Full Marcus’, which won Best Documentary at the Raindance Film Festival, and the music video ‘The End’ by The Horrors, which was nominated for Best Music Video at the UK Music Video Awards.
Randall’s work has been featured at numerous festivals around the world, including SXSW, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Raindance Film Festival. She has also been commissioned to work on a wide range of projects for the BBC, Channel 4, and Sky Arts.

Throughout her career, Randall has been recognised for her achievements in the industry. In 2018, she was awarded a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer.
Randall is currently developing her first feature-length documentary, ‘The Last Ones’, which follows a group of people living in a remote corner of the Scottish Highlands. She is also working on several other projects, including a feature film and a short documentary.
