Jane Chablani is a multi-award winning director, writer, producer, and cinematographer. She has a passion for telling powerful stories and has worked on many projects with a variety of themes including social justice, environmentalism, and human rights. She is best known for her feature films "The Unseen" and "The Silent Sea", which have both won numerous awards and accolades.

Jane was born in India and moved to the United States at the age of eleven. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Film and Television. After graduating, she began working on short films and music videos. She quickly developed a reputation for being a creative and talented filmmaker and was soon hired to direct a feature film.

Jane's first feature film, "The Unseen", was released in 2009 and it won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. It was also nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. The film explores the struggles of a young Indian woman trying to find her place in the world and is told through the lens of her own spiritual journey.

In 2011, Jane released her second feature film, "The Silent Sea". This film follows a young woman's journey from her home in India to the United States. Along the way, she discovers inner strength and resilience while dealing with the struggles of immigration and adjusting to a new culture. It won the International Critics Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Jane continues to direct, write, and produce films that explore the human condition and the complexities of identity. She has had her work showcased at the Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Toronto International Film Festival. In addition to her film work, Jane has also worked in television, directing episodes of "American Horror Story", "The Walking Dead", and "The Leftovers".
