Gus Holwerda is an award-winning director and cinematographer. Born in the Netherlands, he was raised in the United States. He attended the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he graduated with honors.

Gus has had an illustrious career in the industry, with projects ranging from feature films to television to documentaries. His feature film credits include “The Butterfly Effect” (2004), “The Last Kiss” (2006), and “The Spectacular Now” (2013). He has worked with some of the biggest names in the film industry, including M. Night Shyamalan, Joss Whedon, and David O. Russell.

Gus has also worked on numerous television series, including “Leverage” (2008-2012), “The Americans” (2013-2018), and “The Handmaid’s Tale” (2017-present). He has been nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on “The Americans” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”.
