Gunilla Karlzen is a Swedish actress and director who has been active in both the Swedish and international film industry since the mid-1970s. During her career, she has amassed an impressive body of work that includes roles in such films and television series as 'Bergman' (1977), 'The New Country' (1979), 'The Return of Marie-Louise' (1981), 'The Young Americans' (1993), 'Sebastian' (1995) and 'The Man Who Wasn't There' (2001).

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 5, 1951, Gunilla Karlzen began her acting career at the age of 15, when she appeared in the Swedish television series 'Bergman'. She then went on to appear in a number of Swedish films, including 'The New Country' (1979) and 'The Return of Marie-Louise' (1981).

In 1984, Gunilla Karlzen made her debut on the international stage when she starred in the American television series 'The Young Americans'. She then went on to appear in a variety of international films, including 'Sebastian' (1995) and 'The Man Who Wasn't There' (2001).
