Gabriel Spahiu (born May 22, 1981) is a Romanian actor, director, and screenwriter best known for his roles in Romanian cinema. He was born in the city of Cluj, Romania, and started his acting career at the age of 17 with a role in the Romanian television series Din Dragoste.

Spahiu's first feature film was the 2006 comedy La Bloc, which he also wrote and directed. The film was well-received by critics and audiences alike, and won the Special Jury Award at the Transilvania International Film Festival.

Spahiu followed up his success with the 2007 romantic comedy Un etaj Mai Jos, which he also wrote and directed. The film was a commercial success, and won the Best Screenplay Award at the Gopo Awards.

In 2009, Spahiu starred in the romantic comedy Dupa Dealuri, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was a major critical and commercial success, and established Spahiu as one of the most promising young actors in Romania.
