Fred Nihda (born April 28, 1983) is an American actor, best known for his roles on Scandal, The Mindy Project, The Office, and The Good Place.

Fred was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and grew up in a large, extended family. He was the oldest of four children. He was an active child, playing basketball and soccer, and performing in school plays. After graduating high school, he studied Acting and Theatre at the University of Minnesota.

After college, Fred moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He quickly landed roles in television, starting with a guest spot on Scandal in 2012. He followed that up with recurring roles on The Mindy Project, The Office, and several other shows. Fred has also appeared in a handful of films, such as The Fault in Our Stars, The Intern, and The Nice Guys.

Fred is an active philanthropist, supporting causes such as St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Humane Society, and the American Red Cross. He also volunteers his time to various charities, and is often seen at fundraisers.
