Fernando Ramos is a critically acclaimed, award-winning director whose work has been seen in film festivals around the world. Born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1969, Ramos began his career in the early 1990s working on a variety of short films and music videos. In 1997, he made his feature film debut with the critically acclaimed “Caminhos do Coração” (Paths of the Heart).

Since then, Ramos has continued to make critically acclaimed films, including “A Outra Margem” (The Other Side) and “Os Olhos do Gato” (The Eyes of the Cat). He is known for his use of natural light and his ability to capture the beauty of the Portuguese landscape in his films. Throughout his career, Ramos has won multiple awards, including Best Director at the 2002 Locarno International Film Festival for “Caminhos do Coração”.
