Fernando Candeias (2 July 1975) is a Portuguese actor best known for his roles in the television series “Morangos com Açúcar” and “Flor do Mar”.

Candeias was born in Lisbon, Portugal. He was raised by his grandmother, who taught him the importance of hard work and dedication. Candeias started his career as a model at the age of sixteen, working with some of Portugal’s most famous designers and photographers.

In 2000, Candeias made his acting debut in the hit television series “Morangos com Açúcar”. The show was an instant hit and Candeias quickly became a household name in Portugal. His performance as “Alfredo” earned him several awards, including the prestigious Prémio Contigo! for Best Actor of the Year in 2001.
