The Fania All-Stars were a group of Latin music superstars, founded by bandleader and producer Johnny Pacheco in 1968. The Fania All-Stars rose to prominence in the 1970s and were a major influence on the evolution of Latin music. The group was composed of numerous renowned artists from the Fania Records roster, including Willie Colón, Larry Harlow, Bobby Valentín, Cheo Feliciano, Pete "El Conde" Rodríguez, Rubén Blades, Celia Cruz, Héctor Lavoe, Ismael Miranda, and Adalberto Santiago.

The Fania All-Stars were the first Latin music group to perform at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem. The group made their debut album, Live at the Red Garter, at the Red Garter Club in New York City in 1968. Their follow-up album, Fania All-Stars Live at the Cheetah Vol. 1, recorded at the Cheetah Club in 1972, was a major success and featured some of the group's most popular songs, including "El Ratón", "Bamboleo", and "No Hay Mal Que Por Bien No Venga".

Throughout the 1970s, the Fania All-Stars toured extensively and released several highly successful albums, including several live performances at New York's Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden. The group was at the forefront of the salsa music movement and their influence can be felt in modern Latin music.

In the 1980s, the Fania All-Stars disbanded and the individual members went on to pursue solo careers.
