BIO

Eugene Corr is an award-winning director and producer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He is best known for his work on the hit television series “Friends” and his feature films “The Book of Life” and “The Queen of Ireland.”

Eugene was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. As a child he was always interested in art and film and his parents would take him to the cinema often. He also had an early interest in theatre and joined his high school’s drama club, where he found a passion for storytelling and directing.

After high school, Eugene studied film and theatre at Trinity College, Dublin. He then moved to London to pursue a career in the film industry. He got his start working as a script supervisor and assistant director on various television and film projects. He then began directing his own projects, including short films and television commercials.

In 1997, Eugene was hired to direct the Emmy-nominated television series “Friends.” He directed several episodes and was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the show. He went on to direct and produce several other television series, including “The Biggest Loser,” “The Voice,” and “Dancing with the Stars.”

In 2014, Eugene made his feature film directorial debut with “The Book of Life.” The film was an international success and won numerous awards, including the Best Feature Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival. He followed it up with the critically-acclaimed “The Queen of Ireland” in 2017.

Today, Eugene continues to direct and produce award-winning films and television shows. He is currently in pre-production on his next film, “The Sorceress,” which is set to be released in 2021.
