Eric Nies (born May 23, 1971) is an American actor, model, television host, and reality television personality. He is best known for his roles in MTV's reality television shows The Real World and Road Rules, and for hosting MTV's The Grind.

Nies was born in Ocean Township, New Jersey, and raised in nearby Locust, New Jersey. He is the son of a United States Marine Corps officer, and he attended the University of Arizona, majoring in marketing.

His career in show business began when he became a model for the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in New York City, where he worked for clients such as Calvin Klein and Armani. After appearing in an advertisement for The Gap, Nies was cast in the 1992 season of MTV's The Real World. During his time on the show, Nies became a fan favorite due to his positive attitude and his athleticism.

After The Real World, Nies went on to host several MTV shows, including The Grind and The Real World/Road Rules Challenge. He also co-hosted MTV's Singled Out with Jenny McCarthy. In 1995, Nies released a fitness video titled The Eric Nies Fitness Program.

In addition to his television career, Nies has also acted in several films, including The Last Days of Disco (1998) and The Rules of Attraction (2002).

In recent years, Nies has continued to stay active in television and other media. He has appeared on shows such as Celebrity Fit Club, Dancing with the Stars, and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. He has also done voice work for video games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Saints Row IV.

Nies is also an advocate for a healthy lifestyle. He has worked with organizations such as the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Nies is married to model/actress Rebecca King, and the couple has a son.
