Elitza Gueorguieva is an award-winning Bulgarian film director. She is best known for her feature films, short films, and documentaries.

Elitza was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1980. She graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2006, with a degree in Film and TV Directing. After graduation, she worked as an assistant director for a number of feature films and documentaries.

In 2010, Elitza wrote and directed her first feature film, “New Dawn”. The film was an exploration of the emotional and psychological trauma of rural Bulgarian life. The film was an immediate hit, winning numerous awards at film festivals and garnering critical acclaim.

In 2012, Elitza directed her second feature film, “The Color of the Chameleon”. The film was an exploration of the psychological effects of the fall of communism in Bulgaria. The film was a critical success, winning several awards and garnering international attention.
