Edward Stambollouian is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He began his career in the late 1970s, directing and producing various short films and documentaries. He then worked his way up the ranks, eventually directing his first feature film, The Curse of the Cat People, in 1984.
Edward was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1957. He was the middle child of a middle-class family, and he had a passion for film from a young age. He began making his own home movies with a Super 8 camera, and he soon moved on to creating documentaries.
