Duane Peters is an American actor, musician and skateboarder who has been an influential figure in the punk rock and skateboarding scenes since the late 1970s. Born in Huntington Beach, California in 1959, Peters first gained notoriety as the front man for the punk rock band The Huns. With his aggressive, no-holds-barred stage presence and his wild skating style, Peters quickly became a cult figure in the skateboarding and punk scenes.

In the early 1980s, Peters continued to make a name for himself in the skateboarding community. He was one of the first to experiment with vert ramp skating, and he is credited with inventing a number of tricks, including the Peters grind and the Peters slide. He was also instrumental in the formation of the U.S. Skateboarding Association (USSA), which helped bring skateboarding to the mainstream.

In the late 1980s, Peters began to focus more on his acting career. He made his feature film debut in 1987's Thrashin', which was followed by roles in the films The New Kids and The Substitute. He also had roles in television shows such as CSI: Miami and Charmed.

In addition to his acting career, Peters is also a successful musician.
