Bob Odenkirk is an American actor, comedian, writer, director and producer, best known for his role as Saul Goodman in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul.

Born in Berwyn, Illinois in October 1962, Bob Odenkirk was raised in Naperville, where he attended Naperville North High School. After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then Columbia College Chicago, Odenkirk started out as a writer and stand-up comedian. In 1987, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy writing.

It was there that Odenkirk began his career in show business, first writing for the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. After this, he joined the writing staff of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he worked for seven years. During this time, he wrote numerous sketches, many of which he also performed in.

In 1995, Odenkirk co-created and starred in the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David, which ran for four years. In the 2000s, Odenkirk was a writer and producer for the critically acclaimed sketch comedy show Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

In 2008, Odenkirk won an Emmy Award for his work as a writer for The Ricky Gervais Show. He then went on to write and star in the cult classic film The Brothers Solomon in 2007.

In 2013, Odenkirk was cast as Saul Goodman in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad. His performance earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2014.

In 2015, Odenkirk starred in the spin-off series Better Call Saul, which has been renewed for a sixth season. He has also appeared in films such as Nebraska, Girlfriend's Day and The Post. As well as appearing in films, he has also written and directed a few films, such as Let's Go to Prison, Melvin Goes to Dinner and The Brothers Solomon.

Bob Odenkirk is a highly respected actor, comedian, writer, director and producer, with a career that spans over three decades. His work has earned him numerous awards and nominations, as well as a huge fan following.
