Donna Pescow is an American actress and director who has been a part of the entertainment industry for over four decades. She is best known for her roles in the hit movies Saturday Night Fever and An Officer and a Gentleman as well as the television series Out of this World.

Pescow was born on March 8, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. She began her career at the age of 15, appearing in commercials and off-Broadway productions. She made her feature film debut in 1979's Summer of Fear, and soon after made her mark with her portrayal of Annette in the iconic movie Saturday Night Fever.

In 1982, Pescow starred opposite Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentleman. The film was a huge success and Pescow received an Academy Award nomination for her work. She also appeared in a number of other films throughout the 1980s, including The Flamingo Kid, A Chorus Line, and Loverboy.

In 1987, Pescow starred in the television series Out of this World. The show ran for four seasons and Pescow received an Emmy nomination for her work. She also had a recurring role on the hit show Friends, playing the role of Estelle Leonard.

In recent years, Pescow has become increasingly involved in directing. She directed the feature film Searching for Bobby D and the television movie The Secret She Carried. She has also directed episodes of the television shows Nip/Tuck, Bones, and Private Practice.
