Dominic Wade is an English film director, writer, and editor. He is best known for his work on the films The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The World's End (2013), and Baby Driver (2017).

Born in Liverpool, England, Wade grew up in a creative and artistic family. His father was a sculptor and his mother was an art teacher. From an early age, Wade was fascinated with film and television. He studied film and television at the University of the West of England, Bristol before moving to London to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Wade's first job was as an editor on the British soap opera EastEnders. After that, Wade began working as an assistant director on a variety of television and film projects. In 2007, he made his feature film debut as the director of a low budget horror film, The Descent Part 2. The following year he wrote and directed the independent feature film Out of the Blue, which was released in 2009.

In 2012, Wade was hired to direct the third installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. The film was a huge success and was praised for its visual style and creative direction. Following The Dark Knight Rises, Wade directed the science fiction comedy The World's End (2013) and the action comedy Baby Driver (2017). Both films were critically acclaimed and established Wade as a major Hollywood director.

Wade has also directed several commercials and music videos. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two BAFTA Awards for Best British Film and Best British Director. He is also an active member of the Directors Guild of Great Britain.

Wade is currently directing the upcoming sci-fi thriller, High Life, starring Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche. He is also developing a new film, The Witch, which he plans to direct in 2021.

Wade is known for his visually stunning and inventive films that combine elements of action, comedy, and drama. He has established himself as one of the most exciting directors working today.
