Derek Burdette is an American actor best known for his roles in the films "The Purge: Anarchy", "The Purge: Election Year", and "Gone Girl".

Born in Los Angeles, California, Derek Burdette began his acting career at a young age. He studied at the prestigious Theater of Arts in Hollywood and made his debut appearance in a commercial for the video game "Dragon Age: Origins". After this, he began to gain more recognition for his work in television, appearing in shows such as "Glee", "CSI: Miami", and "Rizzoli & Isles".

In 2014, Burdette made his feature film debut in the horror-thriller "The Purge: Anarchy". His portrayal of the character Dwayne earned him critical acclaim and he was praised for his performance. Following this, he starred in the sequel "The Purge: Election Year" and the David Fincher-directed mystery thriller "Gone Girl".
