Dennis Prager is an American radio host, author, and conservative commentator. He is the host of the nationally syndicated radio show The Dennis Prager Show, which airs on over 300 radio stations and is available as a podcast. He is also the author of several books, including Happiness Is a Serious Problem, Still the Best Hope, and The Rational Bible.

Prager was born in 1948 in Brooklyn, New York to Jewish immigrant parents. He attended Brooklyn College and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he earned a bachelor's degree in sociology.

Prager began his career in radio in 1972 as a talk show host on a local New York station. He then moved to Los Angeles in 1976 and began working at KABC radio. During this time he also wrote a syndicated column for the Los Angeles Times and was a regular guest on the TV show Crossfire.

In 1981, Prager began hosting his own nationally syndicated radio show, The Dennis Prager Show. The show is known for its conservative views and has been broadcast on over 300 radio stations around the country. Prager has also written six books, including Happiness Is a Serious Problem, Still the Best Hope, and The Rational Bible.

Prager has been vocal about his support for Israel and has written extensively about the Jewish faith. He is also a strong advocate for the Second Amendment. He has been a guest speaker at several conservative gatherings, including the Conservative Political Action Conference and the Conservative Leadership Conference.

Prager has received several awards for his work, including the National Humanities Medal from President George W. Bush in 2008. He was named one of America’s 25 Most Influential Radio Talk Show Hosts by Talkers Magazine in 2014.

Prager’s work has been controversial at times. He has been criticized for his views on women’s rights, immigration, and same-sex marriage. Despite the controversy, Dennis Prager continues to be a highly respected radio host, author, and conservative commentator.
