Dennis J. McKenna is an American actor, singer, director, and producer. He is best known for his role as Jack on the hit series Gilmore Girls.

McKenna was born in Los Angeles, California in 1977. He grew up in a small town, and was raised by his mother. As a child, he was drawn to the arts and was involved in various theatre productions. He continued to be involved in theatre throughout his schooling, ultimately graduating from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in theatre.

McKenna began his acting career in television, appearing in several commercials and guest-starring roles in shows such as Picket Fences, Party of Five, and Touched by an Angel. His breakthrough role came in 2000, when he was cast in the role of Jack on the hit series Gilmore Girls. He played the role for seven seasons and was nominated for several awards, including a Satellite Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series.
