Declan Conneely is an Irish actor who has been active in the entertainment industry since the early 2000s. He began his career in theater, appearing in productions of plays such as "The Playboy of the Western World" and "The Lieutenant of Inishmore". He made his screen debut in 2003, in the Irish television series "The Clinic".

Conneely went on to appear in a number of British and Irish television series, including "The Tudors", "The Bill", "The Clinic", "Raw", "The Clinic" and "An Bronntanas". He also appeared in the films "The Guard" and "Calvary", as well as the short film "Stories from the Edge".

In 2015, Conneely starred in the critically acclaimed Irish crime drama series "Love/Hate". His performance as the drug-dealing mobster Tommy Morris earned him an Irish Film and Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He went on to appear in the Irish television drama "Vikings" in 2016, playing the role of King Horik.

Conneely has also appeared on stage in productions such as "The Lieutenant of Inishmore", "The Country Wife", "The Plough and the Stars", and "The Cripple of Inishmaan". His performance in the latter earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor by the Irish Times Theatre Awards.

In addition to acting, Conneely has also worked as a voice actor, lending his voice to the audiobook "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" by George R. R. Martin.
