Daz Caulton is an English actor best known for his roles in popular films and television series like The Royal, The Bill and Heartbeat. He was born in London in 1971 and started his career in the theatre, appearing in plays like Othello and Macbeth. Caulton’s career in television and film began with guest appearances in shows like The Bill and City Central.

Caulton's big break came in 1999 when he landed a role in the UK medical drama series The Royal. He appeared in the show for five years, playing the role of staff nurse Mark Williams. Caulton received critical acclaim for his performance and earned nominations for both the National Television Awards and the Royal Television Society Awards. Following The Royal, Caulton moved on to the role of PC Dave Quinnan in ITV's police drama series The Bill.
