BIO

David Thomas is an American director, producer, and writer known for his work in television and film. He is best known for directing the popular television series, The Good Wife, as well as the critically acclaimed feature film, The Wolf of Wall Street.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, David received his BFA in theatre from Carnegie Mellon University. After college, he moved to New York City, where he worked as a stage manager for a few off-Broadway productions. He then began his career in television as an assistant director for the Emmy Award-winning sitcom, Seinfeld.

Since then, David has gone on to direct numerous television series, including The West Wing, My Name Is Earl, and The Good Wife. His work on The Good Wife earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.

In addition to his work in television, David has also directed several feature films. His first feature film, The Wolf of Wall Street, was a critical and commercial success, and was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

David has also won several awards for his work, including a Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Dramatic Series. He has also been honored with the Peabody Award for his work on The Good Wife.

David currently resides in Los Angeles and continues to work in both film and television. He is currently in pre-production for an upcoming television series that he is directing.
