David J. White is an American actor and producer known for his work in television, film, and theatre. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1974, White grew up in a family of seven. He started acting in high school, appearing in plays and musicals such as The Wiz and Grease. He attended the University of Akron, where he earned a degree in theatre.

White made his television debut in 1997 on the show Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. He would go on to appear in a number of television shows, including The Parkers, Girlfriends, and Half & Half. He also has appeared in films such as The Longshots, A Christmas Story 2, and The Purge: Anarchy.

White has also appeared in a number of stage productions, most notably the title role in Othello at the Cleveland Playhouse. He has also been part of the cast at the California Shakespeare Festival and the La Jolla Playhouse.

In addition to acting, White has also served as a producer on a number of television shows, including Girlfriends, which he produced for its entire eight-season run. He has also produced a number of films, including the romantic comedy Jumping the Broom.
