David Friedman is an American actor, producer, director, and writer. He is most known for his roles in the films The Last Song, The Hunger Games, and The Fault in Our Stars. A native of New York City, he grew up in a Jewish family.

Friedman began his career in theater, making his stage debut in a production of The Glass Menagerie in 2001. Over the next few years, he appeared in a variety of productions, including the Off-Broadway shows Little Shop of Horrors and The Producers. He also starred in the Broadway play A Raisin in the Sun.
