David Draiman is an Israeli-American singer, songwriter and musician best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the multi-platinum hard rock band Disturbed. He was born on March 13, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York to Israeli immigrants.
Draiman's family moved to Chicago when he was a young child, and it was there that he began his musical journey. He developed a passion for music at an early age, particularly singing, and was a member of his synagogue's choir. At the age of 15, he formed his first band, Broken, which later became Disturbed.
