David Blomqvist is a Swedish actor who has had numerous roles in films, television shows, and stage performances. He is best known for his roles in television series such as “Blandare”, “Pusselbitar”, and “Beck”.

Blomqvist began his acting career in the mid-1990s after being discovered by a casting director. He had roles in several Swedish films, such as “Nina Frisk” and “Sommar är vår”, as well as a few minor television roles. Blomqvist’s breakthrough role came in the Swedish television series “Blandare”, in which he played the lead role of a young police officer. The series was a hit in Sweden, and Blomqvist soon became a household name.

Blomqvist continued to appear in television series, such as “Pusselbitar”, “Beck”, and “Kommissarie Winter”, as well as a few films. He also appeared in a few Swedish stage productions, including “Trädet” and “The Glass Menagerie”.

In 2012, Blomqvist appeared in the Swedish adaption of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. He played the role of Martin Vanger, the brother of the main antagonist, and received critical acclaim for his performance.
