David Williams, better known as Dave Williams, is an American actor, producer, and comedian. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he is best known for his roles in films such as The Waterboy, Step Brothers, and 21 Jump Street.

Williams began his career in the early 1990s as a stand-up comedian. He quickly gained popularity due to his unique brand of improvisational comedy, which blended physical comedy, sharp wit, and often absurd scenarios. His early stand-up was seen on MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central. In 1998, he made his feature film debut in The Waterboy, where he played the role of Bobby Boucher’s (Adam Sandler) football coach. After his role in The Waterboy, Williams went on to star in a number of other films including Step Brothers, 21 Jump Street, and The Heat.

In addition to his film career, Williams has appeared on a number of TV shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, and The Office. He has also had guest roles on a number of popular sitcoms such as Friends, Scrubs, and Parks and Recreation.

Williams is also a producer, having produced a number of films including The Five-Year Engagement, Get Hard, and The Interview. He is also an executive producer on the HBO series Silicon Valley.

Williams is currently working on a number of projects, including a new stand-up special on Netflix. He is also set to appear in the upcoming comedy sequel, Step Brothers 2.
