BIO

Danielle Colby-Cushman is an American reality television personality and burlesque dancer. She is best known as the co-star of the History Channel reality television show American Pickers, which focuses on antique picking. She also co-owns Antique Archaeology, the shop featured on the show.

Danielle was born in 1975 in Davenport, Iowa. She was raised by her mother and grandmother and grew up with a passion for music, art, and dance. At the age of twelve, she began taking dance classes at the local studio and eventually became a competitive dancer. She attended college at the University of Iowa, where she studied film and women's studies.

After college, Danielle moved to Chicago to pursue a career in burlesque. She began performing with the troupe Burlesque LeMoustache and was subsequently featured in the documentary The Great Burlesque Exposition. After making some appearances on the History Channel, she was cast as a co-star of the show American Pickers alongside Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz.

In addition to her work with American Pickers, Danielle co-owns Antique Archaeology, the shop featured on the show. She also organizes the annual “Pickapalooza” music festival in Nashville, which she founded in 2013.

When not working on American Pickers or organizing Pickapalooza, Danielle is heavily involved with the punk-rock and roller derby scenes. She is a vocal advocate for roller derby, having served as a judge at the Roller Derby World Cup in 2011. She is also an avid skater and has been a member of the roller derby league Chicago Outfit since 2011.

Danielle is a strong supporter of the arts and has been involved with the Arts in Action organization since 2011. She has served on its board of directors and continues to support the organization’s mission to provide creative outlets for underserved youth in the Davenport area.

Danielle Colby-Cushman is a passionate, hardworking, and multitalented woman who has made a name for herself in the world of reality television and the punk-rock scene. She is a dedicated advocate for the arts and a role model for young women everywhere.
