Daniel Kucan is an American actor and voice artist best known for his role as the villain in the video game Command & Conquer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on 8 August 1968, Kucan had an early interest in acting and theater. He attended the Cleveland Playhouse for a short period of time, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.

Kucan's career began in the late 1990's when he caught the eye of video game developer Westwood Studios. After auditioning, he was cast as the villain in their popular real-time strategy game Command & Conquer. Kucan's performance as Kane, the leader of the Brotherhood of Nod, was praised by fans and is often cited as one of the best video game performances of all time. Kucan became synonymous with the role, and continued to voice the character in subsequent games in the series.
