Daniel D. Halleck is an American actor born in Houston, Texas, on April 16, 1982. He was raised in a small town outside of Houston by his parents, who were both teachers. He grew up loving the arts, and especially the theatre, and took part in several school plays as a child.

Daniel began his professional acting career in the early 2000s, when he was cast in small roles on television shows like "ER," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "The OC." His big break came in 2006 when he was cast as a series regular on the hit show "Heroes" as the character Adam Monroe. Daniel was part of the main cast for three seasons, until the show was cancelled in 2009.

Following his stint on "Heroes," Daniel continued to act in supporting roles in films and television. His most notable roles include playing a small part in the blockbuster hit "Avatar," as well as a supporting role in the indie hit "The Skeleton Twins." He also had guest-starring roles on shows like "The Good Wife," "The Mentalist," and "Criminal Minds."
