Prabhu Deva

Prabhu Deva is an Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and filmmaker. He was born on 3 April 1973 in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He is known as the "Dance Master" of India.

Prabhu Deva began his dance career at an early age, performing with family members in dance dramas at Temple festivals. He learned the basics of dancing from his father, Mugur Sundar, who was a popular dance master. Prabhu Deva was inspired by the works of Michael Jackson, and he became a part of his dance troupe, which toured internationally.

Prabhu Deva then turned to the film industry and made his debut as a dancer in the movie Alaigal Oivathillai in 1981. He soon became a sought-after dancer, appearing in several movies. In the 1990s, he became a choreographer for Tamil and Telugu films. His choreography in the movies, Kadhalan, Minsara Kanavu and Love Birds earned him recognition.

Prabhu Deva made his acting debut in the movie Kaadhalan in 1994. His portrayal of an innocent lover won him critical acclaim and the movie was a huge success. He went on to act in several Tamil and Telugu movies, and he also appeared in Hindi movies.

In 2003, Prabhu Deva made his directorial debut with the Tamil movie, Pithamagan. The movie was critically acclaimed and won several awards. He went on to direct several other Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies.

In 2009, Prabhu Deva won the National Film Award for Best Choreography for the song, Muqabala Muqabala, from the movie Humse Hai Muqabala. He has won several awards for his performances in movies and for his choreography.

Prabhu Deva is one of the most popular dancers in India, and he has contributed to the development of Indian cinema and dance. He is an inspiration to many aspiring dancers in India and has earned a place of respect in the Indian film industry.
