Daikaku Chôdôin was a Japanese actor, stage director, and theatrical producer. He is best known for his performances in period dramas and films of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Born in Tokyo in 1953, Chôdôin attended the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. While there, he became involved in the theatre, and after graduating he joined the Tokyo Actor's Troupe.
