Cristian Balint is a Romanian actor, best known for his roles in the films Guns and Roses (1998) and The Way Back (2010). Born on August 30, 1972 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Cristian Balint is the son of actors Elena and Ioan Balint.

He began his career at the National Theater of Cluj-Napoca in 1992. During his career, he has appeared in numerous plays, such as "The Glass Menagerie", "The Cherry Orchard", "The Three Sisters", and "The Seagull".

In 1998, he landed his first role in the film Guns and Roses, which was a critical success. The film was part of the “New Romanian Cinema” movement that began in the late 1990s. It was also the first Romanian film to be nominated for an Academy Award.

In 2004, he starred in the film Breaking News, which won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. He also appeared in the films The Way Back (2010) and Reflections (2012).

In addition to his film work, Cristian has also appeared in a number of television shows, including the Romanian series "Cumintenia Pamantului" (Earthly Innocence, 2009-2010).

Cristian is a well-known face in Romania, where he has been featured in several magazine articles and interviews. He is also an active member of the Romanian film industry, having served as a jury member for the Transilvania International Film Festival in 2010.
