BIO

Craig Muckler is an award-winning director and producer of television, film and documentary projects. He has directed and produced projects for a variety of networks, including HBO, Nickelodeon, The Discovery Channel, Fox Sports, and Syfy.

Muckler was born and raised in the Bay Area in California. From an early age, he was drawn to the power of storytelling and visual media, and he quickly realized his dream of becoming a filmmaker. After high school, he attended the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in motion picture production.

Muckler began his directing career in television. He worked on a number of shows for the popular Nickelodeon network, including the award-winning series “The Journey of Allen Strange” and “SpongeBob SquarePants.” He also directed for the critically acclaimed HBO series “Six Feet Under” and the Fox Sports program “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.”

In addition to his television work, Muckler has also directed and produced numerous feature films and documentaries. His feature film credits include “The Redwoods” and “The King of the Golden River.” He also directed and produced the award-winning documentary “Return to the Redwoods,” which tells the story of a family's journey to reclaim their ancestral land in the California redwoods.

Muckler’s work has been honored with numerous awards, including two Emmy awards and the prestigious Peabody Award. He has also been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, British Academy of Film & Television Arts, and the International Documentary Association.

Throughout his career, Muckler has remained committed to telling stories that inspire and entertain. His passion for visual storytelling continues to drive him as he works on new projects and strives to create meaningful works of art.
