Born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 29, 1987, Clyde Lee was raised in a working-class family. He began acting at a young age, appearing in local theater productions in Georgia. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Georgia and then earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from the University of Southern California.
Lee's breakthrough role came in 2009 when he was cast as Michael Oher in The Blind Side. He earned critical acclaim for the role and was nominated for a SAG Award for his performance.
