Clifford Brown, Jr. (born April 24, 1945) is an American actor and comedian best known for his work on the television series Good Times and his recurring role as Leon Carp on the hit sitcom Seinfeld.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Brown was the youngest of seven children. He grew up in a rough neighborhood and was often the target of bullies due to his small size. He was determined to make something of himself and after graduating high school, he attended college at Northwestern University. While there, he began to focus on comedy and acting, leading to his first professional performance in the summer of 1966.

After college, Brown moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He quickly gained recognition for his talent and soon began appearing in a number of films and television shows. His first major role was in the television series Good Times where he played the role of J.J. Evans for five seasons. He also had a recurring role as Leon Carp on the hit sitcom Seinfeld.

Throughout his career, Brown has been a regular guest on talk shows including The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Arsenio Hall Show, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He has also appeared in feature films such as The Jerk, The Toy, and Parenthood.
