Claus Richter is a German actor, director, producer, and theatre instructor. Born in Essen, Germany, he studied acting at the renowned Berlin-based Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Claus has appeared in several television series and films, including “Der Kriminalist” (2007-2009), “Der letzte Bulle” (2009-2010) and “Tatort” (2010-2013). He has also appeared in numerous plays, including “The Night of the Iguana” (2011) and “Frankenstein” (2013).

He has directed and produced several films and television series, including “Das Ende der Welt (2015), “Der Böse Mann (2017), and “Die Blaue Maus (2018). He also wrote and directed “Kurzschluss” (2013).

Claus has been active in theater since the 1980s, first as an actor and later as a director. He has directed and performed in numerous plays, including “Der Weg des Herzens” (1987), “Das Traumspiel” (1990), “Der Feuerteufel” (1996), and “Der Schulmeister” (2004). He has taught acting at the Ernst Busch Academy since 2002.

Claus is a well-respected actor and director in Germany and has received numerous awards, including the Bavarian Film Awards, the German Television Awards, and the Alfred Bauer Prize.
