Claudio Racca is an Italian film director, actor, and producer. He was born on October 12, 1971 in Rome, Italy. He is best known for his award-winning feature films, television series, and documentaries.

Racca began his career as an actor in Italian television, appearing in the popular shows Una Donna Per Amica and La Vita in Diretta. He then moved on to directing, producing, and writing television shows and documentaries. His television work has earned him several awards, including the prestigious Nastro d'Argento for Best Director in the mini-series La Ballata dei Cinque.

In 2001, Racca made his feature film debut with the drama film Sotto il Cielo di Roma, which earned him the Nastro d'Argento for Best New Director. Following this success, he went on to direct several more feature films, including the romantic comedy Una Notte al Museo (2004), the psychological thriller La Ragazza del Lago (2006), and the crime drama La Terrazza (2008).

In recent years, Racca has become increasingly involved in producing. He has produced numerous films, including the highly acclaimed drama La Grande Bellezza (2013), which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He has also produced the television series Molo 13 (2015) and Il Paradiso delle Signore (2016).

Racca is currently in post-production on his next feature film, La Vita Dopo La Vita (2018), which is set to star acclaimed Italian actor Pierfrancesco Favino. He is also set to direct the upcoming crime drama La Notte In Cui Siamo Nati (2019).
